They believe that I am independent enough to pool money to get myself my own iPhone and yadda yadda yadda but I want to get one without spending any of my money, too. I was browsing through my Tumblr dashboard when I saw this:

I don't even know where this scene is from but it hurt my heart, literally. It has been a long, long while since someone held me this way (If you want to know the truth, the last person who hugged me this way isn't even the same person I am with right now which makes it suck even more). And yes, I am still in a relationship which makes it all the more frustrating in my part. I mean, for someone who is in a relationship, asking to be hugged this way is pathetic. Given na dapat yang mga ganyang moments!

I like Kurt Cobain but not because he's a great musician. Sue me.

I've never admitted this to anyone but I've been crushing on Kurt Cobain since second year highschool, when I saw a photo of him in my busmate's file case. I've never told anybody that because to be perfectly honest, I just like him because he's mighty fine, not because he's Nirvana's front man or because I love his music and I didn't want to come off as a shallow teenager in front of anyone.

Now that I'm older and definitely wiser, I don't care if you judge me for not knowing he's the Nirvana guy until 2 years ago or for being completely clueless as to what his songs are. I really don't.

Lessons of the week.

One of the things I learned this week is that God and the universe will not allow you to wallow in self-pity for a very long time. They will throw good stuff - small stuff - into your life that will make you feel grateful despite all the problems you are having. It's just your call if you're gonna recognize and accept it or not. In my case, I did and now I'm feeling a lot better than I did last Friday.

I've also learned that betting against guys will get you in (drunken) trouble. I made a bet against two guys last Monday where I know think I'm gonna lose. Just so you know, loser takes 5 shots of Gran Matador, the very same drink I swore off from drinking back in '08. Lucky me, huh?

Why is this photo haunting me?

So after all the drama I've been drowning myself in these past couple of days, this is the last photo I wanted to see because it reminds me so much of how I've let myself go through all these years but it popped up all of a sudden in Facebook (posted by Majoy Siason). I don't want to overthink it or anything but is it possible that the universe is throwing this to me intentionally, to make me feel more shitty than I already am feeling? Why?
