I need to obsess over a new guy.

I definitely do. Someone who is so unreachable, I won't get hurt in any way possible. Someone who's too out of my league that I won't have a problem making a fool out of myself whenever he's around. Someone who doesn't even know I exist so I don't have to feel bad if he doesn't reply/favorite/retweet my tweets or notice my flirtatious comments on his photos. (Owws, may pinanghuhugutan...)

And I think I found him:

This is Adam Gallagher. I saw him first on Lookbook's Tumblr page a few days ago and his personal style caught my attention. As I've said here countless of times, I am not a fashionable person nor do I follow any fashion trend but a well-put together guy catches my attention. I may not know what's in or what's not in menswear, I do know what clothes I want a guy to wear and Adam (Naks, first name basis...) definitely wears those kinds of clothes (Eh?).

And then after browsing through his blog, I Am Galla, I realized he's actually good-looking. He has this pretty boy face but his facial hair gives him the badass, don't-mess-with-me aura that I like. The best of both worlds! Score!

Plus, by the looks of his posts, he's a goofy guy who loves sunglasses. I don't know much about him yet, okay. I just started following his blog this morning...

Anyway, I hope he gets my mind off of some people in my life that I should be "getting rid" of. If I'm lucky, once they're out, my self-esteem might make a comeback.

Sorry if this post is all over the place. I'm so pissed off at something I did early this morning that I can't organize my thoughts.

Edit: Adam Gallagher just posted this photo on his Instagram page (12:30pm):

I'm a flats kind of girl.

I am one of those girls who you cannot - for the life of you - force to wear heels. Here are the only moments I wore heels:

  • Gradeschool grad (It was only an inch high but still)
  • BSA junior year (where I went from the ballroom to my then-boyfriend's car barefoot)
  • Highschool grad
  • That one time in the club (and it was one of the things I've regretted in my life so far)
  • A childhood friend's debut
  • A college friend's debut
  • Thesis defense
  • College grad
  • 3 corporate job interviews (I wore flats before and after the interviews)

See? That's not a lot because I really hate wearing them. Yes, they elongate your legs and make you look sexier but I really cannot take the stress it gives the heel of my feet and my legs. I'm all for comfort so whenever I window shop for shoes in Zalora, I immediately go to their flats section and so far, these are the ones that caught my eyes:

Red Sperry Top-Sider, grey Shoo In, Naturezza zippered sandals, J&M slip ons

These comfy flats and other different footwear of various brands - local and imported - are all available in Zalora. Prices start at Php89.75! For real! They also offer free shipping so if the price of the shoe you want to buy is at Php290, that's all you need to pay. Cash on delivery payment option is available to major cities in the Philippines. And yes, the rumor that they deliver within the day is true (depending on your location)!

If all that still didn't make you go to the Zalora website and shop your hearts out, then this will: type Aletotski0 [Aletotski(zero)] upon checkout to get discounts on your purchase.

Print on print picks from Zalora.

If you knew me, you'd know how much I'm into plain, basic pieces. I have a whole lot of plain shirts as well as plain denims. So rarely will you see me wear something printed. That doesn't mean, though, that I wouldn't buy, say, a printed top. If anything, I have a couple of maxi dresses that have some tribal print on them. I just don't wear them that much because a.) it seems out of place wearing my kind of maxi dress with the weather we're having and b.) I don't really want to attract attention.

To prove, though, that I am not that much allergic with prints, here are my printed picks from Zalora:

Chictees Aztec print top, Accessorize floral clutch bag, Collective.com zebra print leggings, The Little Things She Needs animal print bangles, Punchdrunk Panda flats

If you don't want to look weird in front of a lot of people, don't wear all these at the same time. Or do. I am in no position to tell you what to do. I'm not fashionable in any sense. Plus, fashion has no rules so you can do whatever you want to do with it.

For discounts on your Zalora purchase, use the voucher code Aletotski0 [Aletotski(zero)] upon checkout. Now, be gone!

If I were a boy, I'd still shop at Zalora.

I'm not a girly girl but I do love a well put-together guy. I don't shop for myself - not for long amounts of time, anyway - but I can spend hours looking at men's clothes. I also tend to "dress up" my boyfriends in the past and I know they looked good when I was the one dressing them up.

I am no stylist nor anything remotely close to being fashionable but there's one look that I know every girl has swooned over at least once in their lives:

Anyway, before I ramble on on how hot Zac Efron is in this movie, here's my 17 Again Zalora picks for those males who want to look mighty fine like this handsome specimen right here:

Merger jacket, Crimson white shirt, Mossimo sunglasses, Crocs sneakers, Dr. Denim jeans

Channel your inner Zac Efron with Zalora Philippines! Use my discount voucher Aletotski0 [Aletotski(zero)] upon checkout to get discounts on your purchase.

Let's get crunk with Zalora!

If you've been my friend (or acquaintance) for more than a month, you'll probably know my love for the African-American music by now. Hiphop, Jazz, RnB, Slow Jams, Rap, you name it, I most definitely am listening to it.

Problem with me, though, is I cannot - for the life of me - pull off a decent hiphop outfit. It doesn't help that I don't think I look good in it so I just don't push. That doesn't mean, though, that I don't try to put together a look for it when I am bored.

Vero Moda pants, Martina Martina cuff, Feiyue hi-cut sneakers, Skull Candy headphones, Capital G dogtag, Toy Watch watch, Capital G hoody tee

So, what do you think about the look I made? All the stuff you see there are available in Zalora. If you find anything interesting, you can always use my voucher code, Aletotski0 (Aletotski[zero]), to get a 5% discount on your purchase.

Weird fashion trend I do not get.

I am not a fashionable person at all. I wear a pair of shorts, a shirt and a pair of flats all the freakin' time. I can't even wear a dressy blouse on broad daylight because I'd feel overdressed even if I paired it with jeans so I'd totally understand if you bash me for saying the things I will be saying but I would just like to share my observation and hope that someone else shares the same thoughts I have.

(I can't even search the top I will be referring to without Googling it and even my keywords were wrong.)

So apparently, they're called cutout tops, not top cutouts (which is what I Googled).

Anyway, I don't really get cutout tops, especially this kind. The ones that have cutouts at the back, at the sides and even on the upper chest, I get. They make your look sexier or edgier, whatever it is you prefer but these tops that have cutouts on the shoulders? I really don't understand. Is it supposed to help you not get "jabar" when it's too hot during the day?

I know that fashion doesn't need to make sense but I would like to at least understand why it looks that way.

Shop Team Manila Lifestyle apparel at Zalora!

I was mindlessly browsing through my Twitter feed this morning when I came across one of Zalora's retweets from a girl who just got her new shirt from the boutique. What caught my attention was the design. I'd know that design anywhere: it is a Team Manila Lifestyle exclusive!

Team Manila is one of my favorite local shirt brands because of their unique designs and their witty catch phrases. Here are some of my favorites:

Philippines Plus 63

Promoter of Positive Vibes

Y'all Phillin It?

You might be wondering why I chose men's shirts. Well, I am not much of a girly girl and when it comes down to t-shirts, I choose from the men's catalogue. Not only do they fit me better, they also have much cooler designs for the men's line...in my opinion, anyway.

These shirts and a whole lot of different designs are available at the Zalora boutique. You can get them, too, for a more affordable price with this discount voucher:

Voucher code: Aletotski0

5% off for a minimum purchase of Php500

I am getting girlier by the minute.

I don't know what has gotten into me lately but I think I'm getting girlier and girlier each waking day. First, the fascination with rockstars. Nothing can get girlier than that but I just started this year so... Second, the weird (at least for me) sudden interest in bracelets and rings and lastly, spending more time online browsing online shops and falling in love with the pieces I see, specifically denim shirts and knitted tops. Lace is slowly growing on me, too.

I think browsing through fashion blogs has something to do with this. Not complaining, though. I mean it's about time I dressed more like a girl. Although not that much because I still can't see myself wearing a dainty dress with Peter Pan collars, a pair of doll shoes and a really pretty headband. I just wish I had the money to spend for the stuff I like.

I'm not one to follow trends...

Different kinds of prints have been sprouting in the past couple of years but never have I found myself actually liking one until Aztec/Tribal prints came.

I know that these kinds of prints have been around in the past. I should know, we use a red tribal print table accent for our center table every Christmas. But it is only now that Aztec prints are considered fashionable so I am just taking notice of these festive and colorful prints now.

I think that it's the symmetry and how everything looks all balanced out all the time that made me like them. Ironically, though, that I am so fond of these prints but I own nothing that has Aztec prints on them. That only means one thing: Online shopping (again) it is!

King of the Jungle

The reason why I am looking for lion stuff online since last week is because my cousins will be playing at the concert recital of Yamaha in 19 East on July 1 and this is the look that I'd want to achieve:

King of the Jungle
King of the Jungle by aletotski featuring short shorts

Of course, I don't own such a pair of boots so I might end up wearing a pair of sneakers but still, I want to achieve the look.

The Lion craze.

I am currently looking for these lion stuff and it's not because of Bry, okay? I just find these pieces really cool and I know that these will definitely look good with a couple of stuff I bought online.

This is a ring I saw on eBay and the seller is a Filipino but she didn't reply to the text messages I sent to her two mobile numbers posted and to the inquiry I left her mailbox. Long story short, the bidding ended and I didn't even get a chance to know if this one's adjustable or not. Ugh. I'm so bitter about this. :|

This H&M necklace has been in my watch list since last year. I was supposed to ask my brother's girlfriend, Peng, to get me one when she went to Singapore a few weeks ago but alas, I completely forgot about it and remembered a day after she got back. Smart.
