Wishlist 2014

If I am not mistaken, this is my first wish list for the year which says a lot but I am not going to talk about that anymore.

Anyhoo, here are the stuff I've been lusting for these past few months:

Just 'cause I finally look decent in a bikini again.

I am willing to let my Samsung smartphone go for an iPhone 6 Plus.

For MacBook Air 11"

Honestly, I need an entirely different wardrobe with a lot of the same stuff I already have and more (skater) dresses but with smaller sizes. I don't want to brag or anything but it seems like I'm 2 sizes smaller than most clothes I have now. The sacrifices have finally paid off. Oplan Balik-Alindog 2014... Challenge completed!

Yes, it's never too late to post a budget wishlist. Something people can actually get me. Not that I'm expecting someone to give me something off the list but it wouldn't hurt to put them all out there, now, would it?

• Portable charger (preferrably Philips)
• Watch organizer (black, white or fuschia pink)
• Portable speakers
• Tablet casing (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2)
• Phone casing (Samsung S Duos)
• A bottle (or 10) of Jack Daniels, 1 liter
• Cheetos Jalapeno... Pringles Jalapeno... Jalapeno Poppers... Anything jalapeno-flavored, actually.
• Never Shall We Fail shirt
• Neon pink v-neck shirt
• Black leather everyday belt
• Black and/or cream low cut Chuck Taylors (preferrably slip ons)
• F21/Mango foldable sunnies (I'd ask for a pair of Rayban foldable sunnies but that's too expensive but, yeah...that's the dream!) (Edit: I got a Charles and Keith pair. )

Christmas 2013 Wishlist

You'd think I'd have a Christmas wishlist published 10 days before Christmas but I still don't. To be honest, I'm quite content with my life right now. Okay, maybe a steady stream of income won't hurt but overall, I'm good. I have the best daughter ever, a loving family, great sets of friends and someone who's willing to help me with my baggage. I don't think it gets better than that.

BUT for this blog's tradition's sake, here are some of the things I'd buy if I were given one hundred million dollars for the holidays/ask for if some rich fella wants to spend his money on me:

Plus two more Jordans from here and here. I don't know why but I've been lusting for (relatively) expensive sneaks these past few months. Watches, too. But the one I like most, I already have now (Thank you!) so I guess I can stop looking at watches at the moment.

There are the usual ones that have been in my wishlist for the longest time like that 2-BR condo unit, a 3-door white Pajero or that fully restored Beetle in pink. Plus, maybe, a year's supply of Cheetos Jalapeno and probably doughnuts, too (Dunkin Donuts is good).

ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2012

I don't know why but ABS-CBN's station IDs always, always appeal to me and this year's Christmas station ID is no different. I especially love the - and I can't believe I'm saying this - Daniel Padilla part and the transition to Bamboo Manalac just gave me chills.

I would just like know the reason why Kean Cipriano had, like, a 1-second appearance in the 6-minute-something video. That is all.

They launched this one just this evening, in TV Patrol.

Great news (for me) is Kean Cipriano has a (relatively) longer exposure in this video and he looks really cute in the footage.

Not the merriest of all Christmases...

The past few days have been really emotional for me and with roughly 16 hours until the (supposedly) happiest day of the year, I'm still here, sulking in the corner of my room, crying to myself. I don't know why I cannot turn everything around like I used to do. It's so hard, everything is hurting. My head, my heart, my back, everything. Plus, it sucks to wake up every morning trying my hardest to ignore certain people and worrying that my boyfriend might break up with me any time.

There's one thing I can look forward to, though. It's Brianna's first Christmas. I think, for tonight, I am going to pour all my energy to that thought so all the bad ones can take the back seat for a while.

Superhero-and-super-villian themed Christmas party. Help!

I know it's still on the 22nd but I'm too excited because I've Law of Attraction-ed this since I started working in TVSTYLE. I've always thought of going as a slutty Superman but that is not the case now because I'm a mom now so I have to be as wholesome as possible. I could still go as Superman but thinking about it, he seems overrated so I came up with other options. Can you help me decide which character I should go as? My best bet would be my interpretation of Tuxedo Mask.

If all else fails, though, I'm gonna go as The Hulk. Green top, tattered denim shorts and uncombed hair. Doesn't get easier than that.

Christmas Wishlist, the Simple Joys edition

The Habagat season is already here - though most of the time it doesn't feel like it - and we all know what that means: Christmas!

This is the fourth Christmas - if I'm not mistaken - that I am posting my wishlist online. I used to post expensive materialistic wishlist in the past but this year, I decided to post another list: The Simple Joys list. No, not the SM-owned store. Simple Joys. What it literally means. These are not-so-expensive things that I want to happen during the holidays. Traditions I gotten used to that I want to happen again, small things that makes me happy, anything! I don't need Santa Claus for these. I need friends and family for these.

1. A long, tight bear hug from the boyfriend.

2. A cup of Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks with the boyfriend, with my high school friends and with my college buddies. Hiwa-hiwalay, siyempre.

3. A bag or two of Cheetos Jalapeño.

4. A nice family photo with Bry and Brianna.

5. A couple of drinks with the TVSTYLE family, high school friends, college friends and Bry. Again, hiwa-hiwalay.

6. Roadtrip with the family after Christmas, before New Year's.

7. Spend Christmas and New Year's with the two most important people in my life: Bry and Brianna.

8. A list of hiphop/R&B 2010-2011 songs for me to download.

9. A one-hour massage.

10. A go signal from the OB that I can start running again. Yes, I used to run. Di lang mukha.

Simple things make me happy despite the saying small people appreciate small things. Kesa naman di ako makaappreciate ng mga effort like other people...

Christmas...

Okay, apparently, Christmas didn't turn out as I expected (i.e. no phone arguments with my boyfriend over how I'm such a drama queen).

Stupid stupidity.

Shall make my annual year-ender blog entry that takes too much time and brain cells, it probably is the most productive thing I do every year. Okay, besides the wishlist.

I enjoyed last night even without booze.

Went to the TVSTYLE annual Christmas party last night and man, there were a lot of firsts for me.

Last night was the first time I...

...went out after 9pm. Yes, since the pregnancy, whenever I go out, I have to be home before the clock strikes 9. Well, if I were staying at Bry's place, that's technically not "going out", right?
...went to a Christmas party and did not drink any kind of alcohol. Fine, first time I went to a Christmas party and did not drink any kind of alcohol since I was 13.
...went to a Christmas party and actually remembered every damn detail of what happened when I woke up the next morning.
...hungout with people who are smoking and did not feel the urge to smoke.
...sent out gifts labeled "Love, Bry & Ale". It has always been a solo thing for me, even if my ex and I were practically husband and wife to friends and each other's families.
...received gift labeled "To Bry & Ale". Again, it always has been a solo thing.
...felt this much positive attention to a relationship I have.
...had Bry kiss me that much in public. He's not the PDA kind of person. I am not, either but I have to say that I want the whole world to know how in love I am.
...have seen Bry let loose like that. He's loud but he doesn't really dance in public. Ha-ha!

I am sooooo excited for next Christmas' firsts. And one of them firsts would definitely be sending out gifts labeled "Love, Bry, Ale and Brianna". ♥

What Christmas spirit?!

Honestly, I couldn't feel the Christmas spirit this year. Sure, houses are all lit-up and you can see Christmas decorations everywhere but the feel exactly? Nada.

Well, for one, it's still hot in the afternoon and the sun's still way bright for Christmas season.

It might be because I am not lounging around some Starbucks store, sipping my hot Peppermint Mocha drink and smoking my lungs dead while listening to stories and the laughter of whoever's right there with me.

Or probably because I haven't been out and about, battling with everyone in the malls/tiangges/ukay-ukays for the perfect Christmas present for those people in my Christmas list.

Maybe it's because I am not hanging out with friends at night, getting drunk as hell and don't remember a single thing in the morning when I wake up.

I know this is just me complaining.

But really, Christmas spirit is zero this year.

I might get this for Kuya this Christmas.
