I really won't be able to finish this #100HappyDays thing, will I?

I'm lacking 2-3 weeks worth of #100HappyDays entries but I haven't been lacking in positive vibes. In fact, after all that's been happening to me, I'm pretty proud of myself. I never get tired of being thankful despite the bull hovering over me day in and day out...even if I don't really document them everyday.

Now - and I hope it's not considered cheating...although I know it is - I shall post some of the skipped days that I did take photos of the things I was thankful for here. Hopefully, I can follow through on this again and you can all forget how horrible I am with this daily-blogging thing.

August 22, 2014 - Day 22.

Brianna had a kite-flying activity at school which happened at the Greenwoods covered court nearby. It was really fun seeing Brianna playing all those Pinoy (old school?) games. And she really rocked tumbang preso! I'll most probably teach her how to play Chinese garter 'cause it's one of the few things I do great in. If there were a varsity team for it back in the 90s, I'd be team captain. I'm not even kidding.

August 23, 2014 - Day 23.

We were Subic-bound that morning but what really put a huge smile on my face is the fact that I was on the last hole thingy of my watch which meant I lost another half inch on my wrist. Yes, it is a big deal.

August 24, 2014 - Day 24

Being roomies with my favorite tita over that long weekend. Does positive things to both me and mi Bebe.

August 25, 2014 - Day 25

Bonding with the baby girl while looking for the perfect baro't saya for her after a long drive from Subic to Manila. I'll always cherish these moments because I know how rare they'll become once she becomes a teenager.

August 29, 2014 - Day 29.

I have to write this part in bullet form 'cause quite a lot of things happened that I was really thankful for for that day:

• Brianna's Buwan ng Wika culminating activity.
• Brianna dancing to Mamang Sorbetero - although she cried halfway through - and she actually finished it with a smile on her face.
• The 3 of us winning the Paluan ng Palayok contest.
• The trip to the South.
• SM Southmall-ing and meeting up with Kat.
• Actually shopping for clothes and shoes.
• First night sleeping over at my favorite tita's place in BF.

August 30, 2014 - Day 30

Again, I'm gonna have to write this in bullet form because I was really happy that day:

• Woke up in the South. I mean, that's got to be something, right?
• Went to a birthday party at Fun Ranch in Westgate.
• SO. MANY. FREE. BIES.
• Visited Town after 21984765187 years.
• We won the jackpot on this particular ticket machine! First time for me who's been in the (Timezone) game for a long, long time!
• Favorite tita looked after Brianna so I can drink. Haha!

August 31, 2014 - Day 31.

This day marks one of the most thankful days I have ever experienced in my life. The Lord is so good! He always, always, always keeps us safe. He never fails. Grabe sobrang thankful ko lang talaga sa araw na'to. I don't think I'll be able to move on from this.

September 6, 2014 - Day 37.

These guys decided they wanted to travel to Pasig. Always thankful for that!

Yes, I am actually thankful for Brianna's ID. I We were waiting for this for the longest time and today, they've finally distributed the IDs.

Today was a pretty good day but the highlights of today are these #MakeupTransformation posts by my dear crazy friends. They went (kinda) all out with the transformation because there was a prize for the best #MakeupTransformation post from one of our friends. I wanted to join in the fun just for the prize (Kindle!!!) but I'm having a hard time thinking who the end photo would be. Effort talagang pagisipan! Any suggestions?

Online window shopping with the boyfriend. Yes, technology is an essential part of our relationship…for now.

So I've mentioned that I watch Pure Love but not when it airs on ABS-CBN because Brianna doesn't want to watch these kinds of shows (she freaks when the soundtrack changes to that music teleseryes use when one of the antagonists plots some kind of revenge over the good guys). I watch it on PinayTambayan.com. I'm actually on a Pure Love marathon right now so I'm cutting this short.

I've had this book in my reading list for the longest time but only got around to reading it when the month started. I'm not yet done reading it because I barely have time to breathe but I am enjoying the part of the book I am reading now. It effed my brain up, seriously.

I love it when people admit that they are wrong. It's a simple gesture that will always be appreciated by moi.

I had to shut my mouth for this girl right here despite the mean things that have been said about me. I'm enduring every blow thrown my way to give her the best life I can offer her.

Much-needed Sundate with these two. I haven't thought of a single problem the entire time we were out.

Also thankful for this guy's mom for making me and Brianna feel like we actually are a part of her family. We felt comfortable around her; no judgements, no expectations, just love. Yes, she actually made us feel loved…accepted. Such a great woman, that woman. So thankful she raised her son the way she did. Kami ng anak ko ang tunay na nakikinabang.

This girl is finally feeling better so we went out. We went to - surprise, surprise - Toy Kingdom where she had her nails done by the Barbie team. She enjoyed her day and despite another frustrating night for me, I ended up just smiling as well.

I'm so lucky to have caught the last slot for Brianna in this particular preschool where they really, really care about the over-all development of the kids. We had an impromptu parent-teacher conference yesterday in the school's receiving area, with Brianna's teacher updating me with her progress. Most of what she said, I already know but it hadn't occurred to me that it manifests on how Brianna acts.

I'm going out of topic so I'm ending this with saying that I am really thankful for the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with people who want the best for my daughter.

These two. Despite all the stress and the frustrations I am currently facing in my life, these two remind me of how truly blessed I am and why I actually need to move forward. They also remind me that I am a good person and that I am worth something, despite what other people say... Perfect reminders that I am doing something right.

We talk on the phone while we're Skype-ing. Yes, we're that kind of couple.

Was chatting with this girl right here a few minutes ago. We met back in the 90s and only because she went to the same school I did...that and she's the sister of one of my "sworn enemies" (according to my barkada) who's now my boyfriend.

This family... I don't know what I did to deserve such kindness from each and everyone of them. They actually love us (Brianna and I). It's so overwhelming, really. I am so thankful for his very supportive and loving family.

Today was a pretty tough day. A lot has been said and A LOT has been done but by the end of the day, I've finally truly appreciated my mom. She's one helluva woman, my mom. I guess I was too self-absorbed to notice a lot of things happening inside the house and with her but I commend her for not giving up.

We don't have any recent photos together so I'm using an old one, from my lola tita's birthday party March 2014.
