This song!
Please remember that I am a proud jologs.
On that note, I looooooooove this song!
Every Pinoy (ABS-CBN) teleserye and movie from the past - I don't know - 2 years? has this song on their track list and it always, always, ALWAYS gets stuck in my head right after hearing it. Even if I don't know any lyric, the melody just sticks to you... No? Just me? Okay. I don't care. I just freakin' love this song.
On that note, I looooooooove this song!

I'm jologs and I like it.
I usually pretend that I like sosyal stuff just so my social media followers - who are mostly friends from school - won't judge me but I really am a jologs at heart.
I've been watching recent movies these past few weeks. Two movies I've been really meaning to watch when they first came out in the theaters were part of the list: The Fault In Our Stars and She's Dating The Gangster.
Both movies have great reviews online, obviously, made by different sets of people and honestly, I enjoyed them both but one movie played with my emotions more...

I'm not even gonna try to convince you why this is the better movie of the two because, well, I know that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" yadda yadda yadda and this won't be a review of sorts. I just want to say that I really enjoyed this movie more than I did The Fault In Our Stars. Maybe it's because of Daniel Padilla's albularyo look or maybe Kathryn Bernardo's red-lips-aviators-white-button-down ensemble... I don't know. I just like it better, okay?

Grinning like an idiot on a Sunday night.
Currently watching last week's episodes of Pure Love and please don't judge me for watching this teleserye but it's really good (partly because it's a remake of a Koreanovela meaning the concept's not really Pinoy but what the hell). Anyway, I got all kilig when this scene came up from the September 18 episode. When I realized I was smiling like a high school girl, I thought "WTH stop smiling!" because it's lame and also because I am not Yen Santos in this scene. (Sorry boyfie!)
I don't understand why most Pure Love viewers push for the Joseph Marco-Alex Gonzaga love team when clearly, his and Yen Santos' chemistry is spot on. I know the love story angle revolves around Dave and Dianne but Yen Santos' portrayal of Dianne-possessed Ysabel makes that angle work. Am I the only one feeling this way? JoYen/SephYen/YenSeph...whatever they're called in teleserye fandom; I'm rooting for them.

Ohmygod Joseph Marco
Currently watching Pure Love online because of this guy:
I first noticed Joseph Marco on the Primetime Bida soap, Sabel, back in 2011 where he was part of a love triangle with Jessy Mendiola and AJ Perez.
Now that he's back on Primetime Bida, my life is suddenly back on track. I have something to look forward to again. Forget about the future and spending the rest of my life in the loving arms of my favorite person; Joseph Marco on primetime is what life is all about now.

To find a man who'll do the same for me...
This particular write-up about Iya Villania and Drew Arellano's wedding made me tear up a bit. Okay, technically, Drew made me cry. #BadBoyKa
"...and all the sacrifices, I will bear."
I know it's totally not fair but to find a man who'll even try to do just that... That's the dream.
But know this: in this journey, I will hold your hand, I will always be there. So, don’t be afraid to follow your dreams, and all the sacrifices, I will bear. (Arellano, 2014)

Ina Kapatid Anak's Diego Medina
So I was watching Ina Kapatid Anak awhile ago when this Diego Medina character caught my attention. I have this thing for bad boys and his character in the series is definitely one. By the way he looks at Celine (played by Kim Chiu), you'd know he's the bad guy.
Anyway, here's a photo of him:
He's Alex Medina. Apparently, he's one of Pen Medina's sons and is an award-winning indie film actor.
Will definitely watch Ina Kapatid Anak every night starting tonight. There's someone to look forward to...

Still crushing on John Prats
I've stopped crushing on John Prats after his G-mik days because I didn't really like how he looked like...until now (at least the Star Magic Ball 2012 a few nights ago).
He is soooo back!
He is soooo back!

My kinda guy?
I was watching Praybeyt Benjamin online awhile ago - oo na, jologs nako - because I cannot remember what it's all about. I remembered halfway through the film that Kean Cipriano and Derek Ramsay are part of the cast which got me to watch it even more closely (Tutti Caringal is there, too, but that's not what I want need to talk about here).
Somewhere in the end, there was a scene where both of them are in the same frame:
When I was watching this scene, I've come to the realization that what attracted me to these two are their jaws. Look at how sharp they are! I swear; I could nibble and bite on them 'til the day I die.
I don't think I'd be able to prevent myself from turning Jell-O when I meet them both but I would really love to (without looking like a fan). Soon.

| Okay, the shot is definitely all about Derek but Kean is in the background so that counts as being in the same frame. |

Kean Cipriano. He deserves a space here.
My friends know that despite listening exclusively to (Black) American hip-hop and R&B music, I am a jologs at heart. What's jologs, you ask? For those who don't know, jologs is a Filipino slang that pertains to people who religiously follow something so Filipino, it's considered uncool. For example, following Philippine telenovelas is considered jologs.
As for me, all my celebrity crushes are Filipino celebrities. Of course, there's George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Carmine Giovinazzo and Chris Brown (yeah, some of you might say CB shouldn't be lined up with the rest of those guys but what the hell do you care?) but mostly my celebrity crushes are Filipinos and that makes me jologs, which I don't mind being called. If anything, that's even more complimenting for me instead of being called an elitist or a rich little spoiled brat.
Anyway, the celebrity crushes include my first love and all-time crush, John Prats - who I was so obsessed with, my room at home and locker at school had magazine and newspaper cutouts of him - the ultimate bad boy, Bernard Palanca and my ideal man, Derek Ramsay. I also have little crushes in the person of Xian Lim and Coco Martin but I don't really like them that much because they don't fit the "bad boy" image.
The latest addition to the list is the man who has been starring my dreams lately: Kean Cipriano. Kean's rise to stardom started, I believe, when I was in first year college back in 05. I remembered liking one song from his band and I liked it solely because I heard it a lot on my way to school but that's it. He wasn't really a looker then but I found him cute. Cute in a "Oh, he's cute but I'm moving on now" kind of way. He wasn't someone I'd date if he asked me out. Anyway, I didn't notice him anywhere again until he guested in Showtime. Seeing him there turned my world around. He became really hot and his sex appeal increased a hundred or two percent from the last time I saw him. He leveled up! That's when I started following him on Twitter but what really started the Kean craze in me was, ironically, Praybeyt Benjamin. His role was a geek and he wasn't styled like the rockstar that he is but he's just so adorable!
So anyway, I've been religiously following his blog and his Twitter lately and that might be the reason why I dreamt of him a while ago, it was hot and steamy and a lot of kissing - and hiding it - happening but it didn't get THERE which was fine because the foreplay was enough for me to enjoy my dream anyway. I woke up right after seeing a topless Kean in my dreams which bummed be out and the first thought that entered my mind was "Crap. He kisses real good." as if I've kissed him on the lips for real. It did feel real, though, and the way he cupped my face, Oh dear Lord. I'd faint if someone held me that way.
I know I sound like someone who doesn't have a family yet but I don't think you can blame me. He's really hot! Now, I know where he lives - we live in the same neighborhood - and my brother's friends with his brother. The goal is to be friends with him. As in friend lang talaga, walang halong malisya. Fine, there might be a bit...or a lot. It's just a crush, okay?! It's not like I'm planning to sleep with him or anything because I really don't plan to!
(Guilty? De, nagpapaliwanag lang...)
Anyway, I'mma end this post with this photo (I know what you're thinking, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the photo, too):

Them haragan kids...
There are kids around the block - who most probably don't live here - hangout in the store a few houses from us and they have their cellphones on full blast, playing Pinoy hiphop/rap songs. Not that I'm hating but these songs they're playing mostly don't mean anything. I'd understand if they played something by Gloc-9 or Francis M. But no, they've been playing songs that "budding Pinoy hiphop/rappers" sing. I can only remember one song that was featured on TV. It's about how guys hate gays. Beat's all effed up plus their lyrics are derogatory, to say the very least.
That's not the reason why I'm pissed, though. I am pissed because they pass by our house at least once every night and they'd stop for about five minutes in front of it, flirting with one another and talking obnoxiously (Speaking of obnoxious, you should see our light in the garden) loud. They just passed by, the FJs (female jologs) hugging the arms of their men like they're Brad Pitt.
I hope they find another street and store they can hangout in where they don't annoy anyone. Like their place.

Oh wow. (Late post)
AJ Perez died last Sunday in a car accident in Tarlac. I wasn't greatly affected by it until I read this:
Both are good-looking.
Both are La Sallians.
Both died in their sleep.
Both died on Holy Week.
Both their wakes were held at LSGH Chapel.
What a coincidence, huh?
But Mr. M is confident that AJ will handle the pressure just fine. "If he gets the right breaks, he'd be like a Rico Yan." We'll stand in line for that. That was an excerpt from Yes! Magazine where he was featured. Scared the shit out of me.
