Damn it, Clark and Leah!

So I just finished rewatching On the Wings of Love again and can I just say that I've always wanted to do this on my wedding day since I was in gradeschool:

and now that you two got married before I did, people would think I copied this from you guys because I've got the OJD all the JaDine fans have and I can't have that...

To find a man who'll do the same for me...

This particular write-up about Iya Villania and Drew Arellano's wedding made me tear up a bit. Okay, technically, Drew made me cry. #BadBoyKa

But know this: in this journey, I will hold your hand, I will always be there. So, don’t be afraid to follow your dreams, and all the sacrifices, I will bear. (Arellano, 2014)

"...and all the sacrifices, I will bear."

I know it's totally not fair but to find a man who'll even try to do just that... That's the dream.

Wedding-related question...

I am not getting married anytime soon. I am not even in a(n actual) relationship right now but this thought has been "bothering" me these past few nights:

When I get married, should I still wear a white gown?

I know I have pegs posted here before (when I was still ecstatic to get married - but hey, things change) but when I thought about it a couple of days ago, as per the Catholic and practically every tradition known to man, white gowns are worn by virgins and clearly, I am not one.

So... Yeah.

(I'm having a hard time closing blog entries lately, I don't know why.)

Candid face

One of the things that have been bothering me about planning my wedding is the photos, mainly because I don't take pretty candid photos. I mean, that's what pre-nups and wedding photos are all about, right? If I don't find a photographer that will make me look decent in my candid wedding photos, well, that's just sad...

Here comes the bride...

Here comes the bride...
Here comes the bride... by aletotski featuring hi top sneakers

I don't know if I will still change my mind regarding this but for as long as I can remember, I wanted to have a beach wedding (which seems far fetch now because according to a lot of people, the Catholic Church isn't allowing beach/garden weddings anymore) that has a blue and cream motif. I just can't choose the perfect blue that I want but the one posted there is almost it.

The gown has always been like that in my mind. Simple. I don't want any of those tulle and train yadda yadda and I definitely don't like a ball gown. As much as I would want to feel like a princess, I wouldn't want to have a hard time walking after the ceremony so ball gowns are definitely out.

I am still not convinced with the hair. I don't actually want an updo on my wedding day. I want it flowing on my back but I don't think my having black hair is going to work with that look. I mean, only blondes can pull that off. Right?

The Chucks part, though, is final. I will never ever torture myself with a pair of high-heeled shoes even if it is for my wedding and I don't want to go through the hassle of changing shoes on a very busy day so I am definitely walking down the aisle in those babies. I have to convince my groom to wear a pair of Chucks, too.

Okay, here's a much, much better look at the Blair Waldorf wedding gown...

Here's the write-up: http://news.instyle.com/2011/11/16/blair-waldorf-wedding-dress-designer-vera-wang/

The gown is Vera Wang. Fine.

I am looking something else on Tumblr (GG-related) and all it does is show me Blair's wedding gown over and over again...

Here's a better angle of the Blair Waldorf wedding gown.

Ooh! This is purdy, Blair. PEG!

The Kets Wedding.

This might just be the wedding of the year for me. Like everyone else, I was waiting for this wedding to happen. My reason being this couple has been an inspiration for me. I wanted to be a witness of their vows of unending love for one another and for the Lord. Being the crybaby that I am I cried almost the whole time. I was so touched and inspired by this wedding. I love these two to bits. I am thankful they invited me to their wedding.

What does "Fun Casual" mean?

I talked to a friend from my previous job and the attire at the wedding came up. She said that the bride - my former boss - wanted her guests to come in fun casual attire, with yellow, pink and orange as motif. Both my friend and I were confused with what fun casual meant so we both will be going in long, flowing dresses just to be safe. And since it is (sort of) a beach wedding, I guess it will be okay to wear slippers. She said casual, right? Slippers can dress down even the most extravagant attire. I think.

So I came up with these 2 pegs for what I'd want to wear to the wedding. Again, these are just pegs because the actual items cost more than everything I own. I am not being overly dramatic. A pair of one of those sandals cost 20 friggin' thousand pesos. I mean, really? ANYWAY...

So, what do you think? I am not a girly girl and I don't mix pieces well so I'm sorry if these are nakakaumay, at the very least.

How to do my hair and make-up, now that's a different story.

This melted my heart.

I saw these in one of my high school teacher's Facebook account and I am soooo touched by it.

The woman was a teacher in Algebra in high school and all those years in HS, I thought she was already married. Then a few weeks ago, my sister broke the news that she was getting married and at first I thought she was just celebrating her 50th anniversary with her husband. The renewal of vows blah BUT NO! She was getting married for the first time! I was in total shock because back then, she was already old (which makes her oldER now) but she still tied the knot. And not just any wedding, IT WAS A CHURCH WEDDING.

Damn, my heart is soooo happy for her.

There's still hope.

This makes it official.

Bry and I were having the conversation whether I was invited to my former bosses' wedding on July a couple of weeks ago. I bought my dress for the event already even if I was not sure if I'm invited. It might sound assuming but my boss asked me to come but wasn't officially in their guestlist yet so I got a dress already even without the confirmation. I kept on bugging Bry to ask her if I am really invited (as I haven't picked out my shoes and accessories yet) and now, here's the confirmation.

So I guess I'm buying myshoes and accessories now... Help, please?

I've always wanted my hair to look like this in my wedding when I saw it on Vanessa Hudgens. True story.

I had a weird dream two nights ago...

I can't remember the exact details of my dream even the next morning, though.

Anyway, in my dream, Bry proposed with an engagement ring with this huge-ass diamond on it. I mean, HUGE. Also in the same dream was our wedding. As I've previously said, I can't remember the details (e.g. motif, who were there, etc) but I remember giving him my wedding vows and him, giving his wedding vows. I also remember him wearing the wedding ring on my finger. The ring was really really simple but it had a lot of small diamonds on it.

I don't know what that dream means (and I can't research now because the connection's fucked up) but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with huge changes that I am anticipating to happen like actually living with Bry under the same roof.
