Questions regarding the Anti-Cybercrime Law

I just have some questions regarding the Anti-Cybercrime Law, since it's almost October 3. This is not, in any way, a means to be disrespectful to the people who signed it or anything. I just think that the people who wrote it have a lot to explain to the confused public.

Anyway, here are my questions:
  1. Since it's still September, can I still bash people on my (public) Twitter account - and probably my blog - in peace?
  2. If I signed a negative comment I wrote at an amateur blogger's post with "Anonymous", will they actually go through the hassle to find out who I am?
  3. Is it not against the law for other people to access private chat/video chat/direct messages/private messages?
  4. Isn't accessing video chats, even if it'll be used to prove an anomaly, considered as wiretapping and isn't that illegal?
  5. If I use a computer in an internet shop to cyber-bully someone, how will they find/track me?
  6. Will confidential e-mails amongst colleagues remain confidential? What, then, will be the purpose of the inter-office e-mails if people from the outside can access the message database (if that's what it's called)?
  7. If I switch my accounts/blogs to private and bash people there, will they hack their ways into my accounts?
  8. What if I bully someone but not indicate any name in my post, will I go to jail for that?
  9. If I am just stating a fact, a TRUTH, about another person that might trigger a negative response from him/her, will that be grounds for libel? Because if it is, that's probably the reason why the Philippines is still down in the dumps.
  10. If there are a thousand people bashing a single, ordinary person - meaning s/he's not a celebrity, a politician or a business tycoon - all at the same time, will the authorities actually run after them?
  11. How can they track everyone's online activities if they can't even keep a single LTO branch's computer system online for a whole day?
  12. What is taking the RH Bill too long to be passed when the Anti-Cybercrime Law seemed to have breezed it's way into being a, well, law. Clearly, the RH Bill should be a much more important concern for the government than this. I mean, overpopulation and poverty are heavier problems than people who can't take criticism well.

I have more questions and I hope I remember them all soon. Baka makulong ako pag October 3 ko pa maisulat yun.

It would be great, though, if they have an open forum or something that will allow people to ask questions regarding this to the people who wrote the Anti-Cybercrime Law and to those who signed it and hopefully, they revise some of the contents. Matatalino at matatapang na ang mga tao ngayon. Hindi na madadaan sa "Because I said so" ang mga bagay-bagay.

Planning a diet/exercise plan...

There are a lot of beach trips lined up for me in the future that is why I'm doing this. Also because I saw my college bud's, Kizia's, blog post a few weeks ago (Yeah, mostly that because I only have one trip lined up and I don't even have a plane ticket yet). I don't want to call myself a gaya-gaya because I actually want to start going on a diet... I'd want to believe that I got inspired by her determination to lose weight and actually become healthy.

Being a true believer of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, the Law of Attraction and the PSI teachings, I will make this diet plan a S.M.A.R.T. goal.
S(pecific)?: I've achieved my 110-pound weight goal and a barely-there beer belly/post pregnancy flabby tummy by June 25, 2013.
M(easurable)?: Yes, it is. The weight limitation makes it measurable.
A(ttainable)?: Yes, definitely! A lot of people have lost 10 pounds in 8 months. Some lost it at 2 months...
R(isks/obstacles)?:
  • Procrastination
  • Lack of self-discipline
  • Lack of motivation (Yes, being sexy again is not motivation enough, apparently.)
  • Cravings (I am having a hard time giving up my potato chips and cigarette addiction.)
  • Laziness
T(imebound)?: Yes. June 25, 2013.

Now that the S.M.A.R.T. goal is set, I need to know what exactly I will do to make this one possible.
  1. Start running again. Three times a week might be enough because I am committing to a 7-day per week, one hour a day exercise program. Preferring to run in the morning but I plan on working out during the morning so we'll see.
  2. Drink as much tea as possible. No, not the bubble tea that everyone's raving about (To be perfectly honest, I don't intend to start drinking it). I mean legit tea. Like the ones they serve at Chinese restaurants.
  3. Eat smaller meals. Since I've been chowing down so much carbs lately, I need to start eating in smaller but frequent doses.
  4. Download phone and computer applications to help me keep track of my progress. I think keeping track of my progress is one of the motivations I need to help me get through this.
  5. Download exercise videos that I will use everyday. Currently leaning towards Zumba (just 'cause it's uso), hip-hop and aerobics.
  6. Limit myself to one stick a day (I'm on two a day now) on my first week towards a healthier lifestyle and not get tempted to smoke when I go out/drink.
  7. START EARLY AND HOPEFULLY MAKE IT THROUGH THE FIRST 20 DAYS.
As of now, that's it. I just need to know one thing: Do I need to wear a pair of rubber shoes when I exercise at home? It would feel silly but I will if I need to.

If I were a boy, I'd still shop at Zalora.

I'm not a girly girl but I do love a well put-together guy. I don't shop for myself - not for long amounts of time, anyway - but I can spend hours looking at men's clothes. I also tend to "dress up" my boyfriends in the past and I know they looked good when I was the one dressing them up.

I am no stylist nor anything remotely close to being fashionable but there's one look that I know every girl has swooned over at least once in their lives:

Anyway, before I ramble on on how hot Zac Efron is in this movie, here's my 17 Again Zalora picks for those males who want to look mighty fine like this handsome specimen right here:

Merger jacket, Crimson white shirt, Mossimo sunglasses, Crocs sneakers, Dr. Denim jeans

Channel your inner Zac Efron with Zalora Philippines! Use my discount voucher Aletotski0 [Aletotski(zero)] upon checkout to get discounts on your purchase.

The quote everyone is talking about.

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's 10th year as the Philippine power loveteam brought about the movie, The Mistress and along with it comes a quote that I have been seeing and hearing everywhere:

Di porket gusto mo, makukuha mo.

The first time you will read or hear it, you'll probably agree with it. For me, though, when I started analyzing it (because I've been seeing and hearing it a lot especially when they were doing their promotional rounds among a lot of ABS-CBN TV shows), I realized that I do not agree with it at all.

I have one simple reason: If you want it THAT much, you'll do ANYTHING to get it and you WILL get it. I know, I know, there will come a point where you realize that it's either (1) not worth it anymore, (2) it's not the right thing to do or (3) it's hurting somebody else but that's exactly my point. You will stop at NOTHING if you really want it. Yes, not even if it's against your ideals. If you're having second thoughts in pursuing it, stopping halfway through pursuing it or hesitating on grabbing the opportunity that's already there, I'm sorry but you don't want it bad enough, no matter what you say.

The excuses that you come up with not attaining a certain goal are the proofs you're looking for that tells you that you do not want something bad enough. When you stop giving excuses, that's when you know you want it for real.

Multiply Flashback: LEGS.

Can we just take a minute and admire my legs back in 2006?

My 18th birthday | September 15, 2006 | Ahlen

Okay. Back to regular programming.

Multiply Flashback: Remix 2006

Taking a break from backing up my Multiply photos MANUALLY because I cannot take the hassle their export tool is giving me that I'd rather download all the photos one by one.

Anyway, this is one of the moments that I felt so proud of myself during college.

Remix 2006 Finals | August 4, 2006 | Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University Manila campus

I completely forgot that once in my life, I actually danced in front of an audience. I mean legit dance because clubbing doesn't count. Even if I was so bitter GMG didn't accept my application back in college, I am so thankful they asked me to dance with them because that night was one of the nights that I felt most alive in my life.

Let's Move & Let's Love

Agape. Unconditional love. This is the most important form of love that can ever be given to someone and I vow to give this kind of love to random people for the rest of my life.

I've been thinking about how I will actually go about this. After all, it's love that doesn't ask nor expect anything in return... Well, I am a mom and that automatically - for a lack of a better term - counts but I want to do something for other people. Someone I do not know. I know that I can do something that involves a non-profit organization but I want something simpler.

Okay. Here's what I will do: For the remainder of the year, I will pay for at least one person's jeepney/FX/tricycle fare everytime I go out. After all, I've done this a number of times already. I usually do it for the person who has a lot to carry or is with a baby or a grandparent or with a person with disability. Not that I am trying to brag or anything; it's just that I know how it feels like to commute with something or someone in tow.

For next year, I will come up with something better like, probably, share my umbrella to someone who doesn't have one when the rain is pouring or split a cab to someone running late. Unconditional love doesn't have to be grand or expensive. All you have to do is think about how you can help another person without holding it over his/her head like some kind of debt that you can encash any time in the future.

Love and every act of love is universal that it can transcend any barriers and United Colors of Benetton wouldn't have come up with a better concept for their next line of fragrances. Benetton challenges us to go out and make someone feel loved  as they launch their two new fragrances, Let's Move for men and Let's Love for women:

How about you, what act of love would you willingly give to your neighbor? To your loved one? To your friends?

This Thought Catalog post deserves to be reposted.

20 Feelings And Situations That Everybody Hates
APR. 4, 2012 By CHRISTOPHER HUDSPETH
  1. Seeing a bug, then losing track of it and becoming a paranoid prisoner in your own home.
  2. Hearing loud slams and bumps while you’re in the shower and imagining it being some type of killer who you’ll have to fight off, soaking wet and butt naked.
  3. Thinking that you’ve found a parking space, but as you turn in you discover that a motorcycle, a Volkswagen Bug, or some other vehicle the size of a Hot Wheels car has already occupied the spot.
  4. When a sneeze refuses to come out, causing you to look like a fool with a scrunched up face.
  5. Waiting to hear from somebody specific and being bombarded by texts & calls from everyone who isn’t that person.
  6. When the week feels like: Moooooooooooooonday, Tuuuuuuuuuuueeeesday, Weeeeeeeeeeeednesday, Thuuuuuuuuuursday, FriSatSun.
  7. You scan your surroundings. Nobody is near you. You fart. Within three seconds, somebody comes right into the stinky perimeter that you’ve created.
  8. Checking your bank account after a night of intoxicated drink purchases.
  9. When you microwave frozen food and it’s scorching hot everywhere but the ice cold middle.
  10. When Michael Bay acquires the rights to make a film about a franchise that you previously enjoyed.
  11. When somebody makes up lies about you, and defending yourself makes you seem guilty – but not defending yourself seems suspicious as well.
  12. Getting paid but knowing in advance that your check will be consumed by bills.
  13. Entering a parked car on a scorching hot summer day.
  14. When gas prices are higher than your GPA.
  15. When someone 20+ feet away holds the door open for you, forcing you to jog toward them.
  16. The humbling moment when you realize you’re wrong during an argument.
  17. Waking up and only having a few minutes left until the alarm will sound.
  18. When you wear a good outfit but don’t run into anybody noteworthy all day.
  19. When you have to be a douche and shuffle through the bag to confirm that Taco Bell (or any other fast food joint) got your order correct.
  20. The feeling of heartburn, self-hate and bubble guts that comes about 5-10 minutes after consuming Taco Bell (or any other fast food joint).
(I am putting the actual source because I don't want to seem like a Tito Sotto, that sorry excuse for a senator.)

If I were given the chance to live in another place...

...I would love to live in New York.

The way I look at New York is the way how a probinsyana looks at Manila.

I've read stories of people who actually lives in New York and swears that life there isn't any better but still a part of me wants to live in any part of it. I could work as a bagger or a writer or as an executive assistant, it doesn't matter just as long as I live there.

I'm watching far too much TV shows and reading far too much books that are set in New York...

What's inside my bag?

When my mommy blog was still active, I keep on planning on posting a what's-inside-my-bag blog post because I thought that it was a necessity when it comes to mommy blogs but I also keep on setting it aside until I closed down the blog and didn't get to do it altogether. (I broke a lot of writing rules with that one.)

Now that I don't have to actually spend all my time seeing if Brianna will fall off the bed, I actually am doing it. Here's what's inside of my fulltime-mom-no yaya bag:

Hot guy mugshot.

I got this hot guy mugshot over at the Thought Catalog (and they got it from a Tumblr page called Hot and Busted) and can I just say he's so hot ohmygod. He reminds me of both Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald.

Side note: Gossip Girl is taking so long to start this year...

Let's get crunk with Zalora!

If you've been my friend (or acquaintance) for more than a month, you'll probably know my love for the African-American music by now. Hiphop, Jazz, RnB, Slow Jams, Rap, you name it, I most definitely am listening to it.

Problem with me, though, is I cannot - for the life of me - pull off a decent hiphop outfit. It doesn't help that I don't think I look good in it so I just don't push. That doesn't mean, though, that I don't try to put together a look for it when I am bored.

Vero Moda pants, Martina Martina cuff, Feiyue hi-cut sneakers, Skull Candy headphones, Capital G dogtag, Toy Watch watch, Capital G hoody tee

So, what do you think about the look I made? All the stuff you see there are available in Zalora. If you find anything interesting, you can always use my voucher code, Aletotski0 (Aletotski[zero]), to get a 5% discount on your purchase.

Saving the earth one car at a time.

In today's day and age, convenience has been the foremost priority of almost all people. End result is, well, damaging the environment. I am not trying to sound really intellectual or environment-friendly here - although I think that I am because I rarely use plastic (yay me!) - but I think it's safe to say that we all need to start taking care of Mother Earth. I mean, with what's happening around the world right now? We should be doing our part.

The guys over at Parklean Crew Waterless Carwash have been doing their part in saving the environment. How? Well, for one, they offer waterless carwash. I know a lot will be asking how this one is possible and the answer lies in Freedom Waterless Carwash Solution.

Photo taken from  http://freedomwaterlesscarwash.com/

This all-organic, biodegradable product from the United States has given the Parklean crew the chance to save 50 gallons of water per car washed but at the same time, provide a cleaning service like no other. Not only will this product clean your car but it will also leave your parking space clean and dry.

Another thing that makes Parklean Crew Waterless Carwash different from other carwash? You can experience their services while at the comfort of your homes. Yes, they're the ones who will go to your place for the carwash. With their phone-in delivery, you'll never have to leave your couch for a carwash on a Sunday afternoon.

Here are some photos of a Parklean crew at work (all photos taken from their Facebook page):

As of the moment, Parklean Crew Waterless Carwash offers their services exclusively for condominium residents from Salcedo and Legaspi Villages in Makati.

For more information about their services, you can call them at 904-6889, 0915-9697469 or 0929-3245501 or like their Facebook fan page at https://www.facebook.com/parklean. You can also e-mail them at parklean.crew@gmail.com.

Weird fashion trend I do not get.

I am not a fashionable person at all. I wear a pair of shorts, a shirt and a pair of flats all the freakin' time. I can't even wear a dressy blouse on broad daylight because I'd feel overdressed even if I paired it with jeans so I'd totally understand if you bash me for saying the things I will be saying but I would just like to share my observation and hope that someone else shares the same thoughts I have.

(I can't even search the top I will be referring to without Googling it and even my keywords were wrong.)

So apparently, they're called cutout tops, not top cutouts (which is what I Googled).

Anyway, I don't really get cutout tops, especially this kind. The ones that have cutouts at the back, at the sides and even on the upper chest, I get. They make your look sexier or edgier, whatever it is you prefer but these tops that have cutouts on the shoulders? I really don't understand. Is it supposed to help you not get "jabar" when it's too hot during the day?

I know that fashion doesn't need to make sense but I would like to at least understand why it looks that way.

Pleasant surprise c/o Zalora

Last Saturday night, while hanging out with Brianna and my babydaddy, I heard someone call out my name. It was weird because one, I don't get that much visitors here at home and two, it was late/early, depending on how you want to look at it. When I answered the door, I saw the Zalora delivery guy with my package:

Like before, I still love their packaging. Those boxes, alongside everything else they offer with the merchandise (30 days return, free shipping nationwide, same day delivery, cash on delivery, etc) proves how much they value their customers.

Anyway, that wasn't what surprised me because I already knew all of that while I was browsing their online catalogue. What surprised me was the fact that the delivery guy arrived at 8:00 on a Saturday evening. I knew that couriers deliver during Saturdays but I always receive my package before lunchtime so a delivery at 8pm really surprised me. Kudos to the delivery guy and kudos to Zalora!

Don't forget to use my coupon code, Aletotski0 [Aletotski(zero)], when you check out for discounts.

#59. If we crossed paths at the mall and I didn't say hi, don't take it personally. I have really poor eyesight but I hate wearing eyeglasses and I can't put on contacts for the life of me. I just can't see you. That and I don't really look at people's faces unless I have to talk to them.

Still crushing on John Prats

I've stopped crushing on John Prats after his G-mik days because I didn't really like how he looked like...until now (at least the Star Magic Ball 2012 a few nights ago).

He is soooo back!

Chic finds on Chic Finds.

One of the greatest online shops on Facebook I have bookmarked on my browser is Chic Finds. Chic Finds is run by the sister tandem, Queenie and Tin Contreras. Their shop consists of pre-loved items that need new homes and brand new imported items, mostly pre-orders.

Here are some of their products:

but what I love most are their Casio watches:

I know what you're going to say: There are a lot of online shops offering these watches. The difference with Chic Finds is that they offer these watches at a relatively cheaper price because the shipping fee is inclusive with the price of their watches. And because of this, I will definitely be getting my Casio from them one of these days.

I can bet that you will find the chicest finds in Chic Finds so go ahead and add them on Facebook and start browsing their products. You will love them as much as I do, I know it.

I can exceed my limitations!

Before 2011 ended, I made a goal for myself to finish on 2012. I went as far as converting it into a S.M.A.R.T. goal. The goal is to run (and of course, finish) my first ever 5k marathon. I kept this goal in mind every single day since 2012 started and everyday, I would do little steps that would help me achieve this: I (online) window-shopped for running shoes, I actually purchased my first "official" running shorts, ran a 3k fun run, all those stuff when finally, an opportunity to run 5k presented itself.

My cousins and I were talking about joining the Outbreak Manila fun run back in April 2012 in Nuvali. Long story short, we forgot to register. The great thing about it, though, after a couple of months, they've announced another Outbreak Manila run that will actually happen in Manila. Outbreak BGC happened last July 28, 2012 at the Bonifacio Global City open grounds (near Mercato). I have my experience chronicled here.

I didn't know that Outbreak BGC was a 5k run prior to the event. I just heard the emcee of the event say it when my sister and I were waiting for our wave to run. It was a pleasant surprise and right then and there, I knew that I wanted to finish this run more than ever.

It was a great run except I didn't get to verify if I was one of the top finishers right away. August 3, the Outbreak Manila Facebook page posted the final list of the top finishers and...well...

That's me on number one! And I even have a medal to prove it:

Not only did I finish my first 5k this year and attained my goal, I even finished on top! Talk about exceeding my limitation!

My most favorite sports enthusiast as of the moment has got to be Kuya Kim Atienza. The guy suffered a heart attack last year and a year after it, he ran a full 42k marathon. As if that wasn't enough, he participated in the Cebu Ironman a few months after his 42k! You wouldn't even think that he had a heart attack if you only knew of his achievements this year. If he could exceed his limitations having had a heart attack the previous year, those of us who have healthy hearts could definitely do it, too!

I bet that Kuya Kim, too, takes his odor protection seriously and that is one of the reasons why he can focus on his workout. Good thing, I take this one seriously, too. Imagine an unhygienic me, running the course of Outbreak BGC... I bet the zombies would run for their lives (Wow, how ironic).

Safeguard Active won't let bad hygiene distract you from exceeding your athletic limitations and in beating your personal best! To prove that, a bunch of people have been dared by Safeguard Active to beat Coach Rio's 20-meter dash record. Watch this #BeatCoachRio by Safeguard Active video to see if someone actually beat his 2.3-second record:

Since 2010, I've been a firm believer of goal setting and the impact of the Law of Attraction. My personal experience as well as these people's experiences are proof that whatever it is you put your mind into, you can achieve. You just need to have the determination and the perseverance to make it through and you will make it through.

The first gift I received this month is from Zalora!

I woke up yesterday feeling rather moody and PMS-y and I have a proof of it but Zalora gave me a very early birthday present that I forgot about the rut I was in:

It made me rush to the Zalora Philippines website, swear. I had to browse their online catalogue to find me a perfect gift. Right now, I only have one item on my cart:

How pretty is this Brazilea flipflops design, right? I've always needed a new pair of flipflops for when we go out of town or for swimming and this is the first pair I've fallen in love with since this pair so I think I am buying it. Will definitely use my birthday discount when I purchase my pair.

I am not the only person who can get a treat from Zalora. You can, too! Just use my Zalora discount voucher, Aletotski0 [Aletotski(zero)] upon checkout to get a 5% discount on your purchase.

Ah, September...

I'm not really fond of my birth month. Ever since I can remember, I haven't had a memorable birth month except 2006, when I turned 18 and someone went out of his way to make my birthday special and memorable and everything made my knees all wobbly up to now, 6 years later, only to have his heart broken by yours truly that very same day (yes, I am a man eater).

Anyway, long story short, I do not look forward to my birth month because nothing really significant happens... That and everyone seems to feel the need to post the title of that Green Day song everywhere. Seriously, guys, you need to get over it.

I am such a mess. Tatlong araw na.
